Observations From An Unlikely Disciple
Jesus chose the most unlikely folks to be His disciples, such as fishermen Simon Peter, Andrew, James, and John; Matthew, a tax collector; the ever-doubting Thomas; Jewish zealots like Simon; Judas, a thief and traitor. Simply put, Jesus chose imperfect, everyday people of the time and tasked them with helping Him with His purpose, as Luke (4:43) records Christ in His own words: ”I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also because for this purpose I have been sent.” I never considered myself disciple material, yet I was called and answered. “Observations From An Unlikely Disciple” is a series of Scripture-based messages reflecting God’s love. They are a continuation of this unlikely disciple’s ministry.
